LEGO Global Building Event Singapore
Terms and Conditions
  1. All application forms together with attached cheque payment must reach our registration centres (listed on the overleaf) by 20 August 08 (Wednesday) at 6pm.
  2. Registration fee of S$39.90 must be in cheque, crossed and made payable to Crestar Education Group Pte Ltd.
  3. Each participating family should consist of at least 2 members and not more than 3 members.
  4. Each participating family should consist of one adult team leader and at least one child between 5 and 11 years old.
  5. Application is open to citizens and permanent residents of Singapore only.
  6. All completed applications will be subject to a balloting session to determine the final list of 120 participating teams on Friday, 22 August 2008, 4 pm at Kinderland Auditorium @ Yio Chu Kang (449 Yio Chu Kang Road Singapore 805946). The balloting exercise will be conducted in the presence of representatives from the South West Community Development Council (South-West CDC), PeopleŐs Association, LEGO Education (SEA) and Crestar Education Group Pte Ltd. The balloting process will be video-recorded for transparency and due accountability.
  7. There will be 120 ballot slots and all successful applicants will be notified through post not later than 27 August 2008.
  8. Non-successful ballots will be notified through post with cheque payment duly returned not later than 31 August 2008.
  9. This event is not open to employees or direct family members of Crestar Education Group, LEGO Education Center, LEGO Education (SEA) and South West Community Development Council.
  10. Proof of submission of an application form does not constitute proof of delivery and no responsibility will be accepted for lost, corrupted, delayed or mislaid applications.
  11. Applications will be deemed to have accepted the Terms and Conditions and to agree to be bound by them when entering the competition.
  12. The judges' decision is final in every situation including any not covered and no correspondence will be entertained.
  13. The Organisers reserve the right to cancel the competition at any stage, if deemed necessary in their opinion, and if circumstances arise outside of their control.
  14. The Organisers reserve the right to disqualify any team if the team fails to comply with the CompetitionŐs Rules and Regulations, Terms and Conditions and / or any misconduct.
  15. Right of participation for successful applicationsŐ is non transferable.
  16. The winning family to travel to Denmark must be the actual team number and participating members from the event held on 7 Sep 2008.
  17. The winning prize is solely for participation at the LEGO Global Building Event held in Denmark on 10 to 12 Oct 2008.
  18. Prizes are non-refundable, non-transferable nor exchangeable for cash.
  19. The Organisers reserve the right to transfer the winning prize in the event that the winning team is not able to participate at the LEGO Global Building Event in Denmark on 10 to 12 Oct 2008.
  20. Proof of identity i.e. NRIC/Passport of Team Leader and NRIC/Birth Certificate/Passport/Student Card of members AND Letter of Acceptance must be presented upon reporting on 7 Sep 2008.
  21. Notes, pictures or any other reference materials used to gain an unfair advantage as determined by the organizers are strictly prohibited during competition.
  22. Reporting time must be strictly adhered to, failing which the team will be disqualified.
  23. The organizers have sole rights of use on event photographs, video clips or any other recorded devices of participants for the purpose of publicity and publicity materials for LEGO Education Centre and Crestar Education Group Pte Ltd
