A Collaboration with Top Chinese University offering Chinese Language Degree Programmes Fudan University, founded in 1905, is a renowned institution of higher learning with a long-standing history in China, well-known in the country and internationally. This top university with 100 years of history is located in Shanghai, China’s biggest city and most prosperous metropolis. Under the direct jurisdiction of the State Ministry of Education, the university is one of the country’s key varsities as well as one of the top Chinese universities.

Fudan University first took in foreign students in the 1950s, making it one of the earliest educational institutions to accept foreign students. The International Culture Exchange School is the professional body through which Fudan University recruits foreign students and imparts Chinese language teaching to them. Every year, large numbers of undergraduates studying the Chinese language are recruited. Fudan-Xinsida Chinese Institute has been conducting Fudan University's Bachelor of Arts Chinese Language porgramme in Singapore since 2004.
